Sister Gabriel Marie, oh how my heart is broken with the loss of a Sweet and caring person. She showed me so much at the motherhouse. She was always willing to help with any problems, whether there or my home. She taught me so much. She had the joyous spirit I have ever known. Cooking in the kitchen, and share her ideas helped me tremendous. She was with me when I lost my Mom, and helped me through a lot. Rest in Peace My Sweet Lady. You will be surely missed, but your loving memories will always be in my heart. Sending lots of love and prayers to the Sister's and Meyers family.

Sr. Gabriel is one of the most beautiful persons I have ever known.
She started the RCIA at St. James in Gouverneur in the early 1990's. She said; "I don't know exactly what we are supposed to do, but we are going to start anyway!"

Sister Gabriel Marie became a family friend when she served our Port Leyden and Lyons Falls parishes. We all loved her warm and jovial personality! Her sense of humor was contagious. We can just imagine Jesus hugging Sister Gabriel Marie and the two of them having a huge smiles!
Our condolences to Sister Gabriel Marie’s family and friends! May your precious memories of her be a comfort to you now.

Sister Gabriel Marie was my 8th grade Sacred Heart teacher. My mother pulled me from public school after 7th grade as I was headed for juvenile delinquency. Sister started the turnaround of my young life, and a faith in God and Jesus that is with me today. I am certain that she played a part in improving the lives of thousands over the years, and is now enjoying the even
closer love of Jesus.
