Mary M. Hall

Mary M. Hall, 60, of Watertown passed away Friday morning, June 17, 2022, at Samaritan Medical Center.

Mary was born July 19, 1961 in Watertown, daughter of Peter S. and Ruth E. Heath Doroha, Sr. She was a graduate of Watertown High School and Upstate Medical Center School of Nursing. On September 4, 2011 she married Gary W. Hall in Dexter. She was a Registered Nurse at Samaritan Medical Center for 40 years and Mary enjoyed camping in Cape Vincent.

Along with her husband, Gary, Mary is survived by her daughter, Emily R. Mitchell, Watertown; four grandchildren, Gabriel, Vanessa, Violet, and Lauryn; sister-in-law Carolyn Heath, Dexter; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides his parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Stephen Heath and Peter S. "Doc" Doroha, Jr., both passing in 2019.

A graveside committal service at Dexter Cemetery will be at a time and date to be announced. Arrangements are entrusted with Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Watertown and online condolences to Mary's family may be posted at www.cummingsfuneral.com . In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to an Autism charity of your choice.

I started my career at Samaritan hospital the same day as Mary. I worked many years with Mary in a couple different departments. Always helpful and patient care was first with her. Saddened to hear of her passing so soon. Peace to her family. RIP Mary

I started my career at SMC with Mary 27 years ago. She took me under her wing and showed me the ropes. We had so much fun with her, Linda Lane, my cousin Jody, and myself. Mary just like to have a good time and to put a smile on everyone's face. I can't believe she is gone. Such a beautiful human. I didn't see her much anymore except passing her in the halls at the hospital before she retired. She will sure be missed. Thinking of Gary and her family!!

Gary, I am so sorry for your loss. I am Mary’s first cousin. Our mothers were sisters. ( Naida ). I knew Mary as a baby. She was born between my two oldest girls. They spent lots of time together as little kids. I remember my last visit with Mary and cousin Nancy at your home going through old photos and laughing a lot.
I also remember Emily as a child and at a Tupperware party, Emily parted with a small container that I use everyday. Please may you each accept my condolences.
