Heaven gained a great angel with Paul. Our Fondest memories are from the Gull Lake Club. We spent countless hours at Little Camp with Paul, Richard Mousaw, John Allen, Blain Nestor, David Mousaw and out father hunting and playing cards and just simply hanging out. I can honestly say we all cherished the times during the winter when Paul would bring his Boy Scout Troop to camp for winter badges. We want to thank Paul for all the time he spent with us as kids and all the time he took to teach us different things. We know he is up in heaven right now having a Manhattan (little camp favorite drink) with all the members. May god bless your family and may Paul rest in peace. Thank you for everything. You are a hero in our eyes! May you rest in peace!

Knew Paul through the volunteer services and Boy Scouts and then 20 years with WFD. Always amazed of the knowledge he had and his committment to the fire service. Never a slack of dedication because of his years of service, always worked and treated it as if he was just beginning and took part in most everyting with the men. Thats a true leader and one to call a friend! Matt, you have a true Hero to watch over you and had a first class mentor. You should be so proud!!
Rest in peace my friend.

Grew up as a young boy knowing Paul from the City Fire Dept. and he was a leader of my Boy Scout troop from Sacred Heart. Paul was a great man who taught me many life lessons that I use to this day and pass on to my grandchildren. He was a great leader, teacher and person! They just don't make people like that anymore! THANK YOU for everything Paul! Rest in peace my friend! I am a better person because of you!

I had the honor of working with Paul both as a staff member at Boy Scout Camp Portaferry and as a volunteer firefighter. Paul was a great leader and an inspiration to all that worked with him. He will be greatly missed.
