Kathleen A. Hayes, 64, of Watertown passed away Friday morning, July 28, 2023, at Hospice of Jefferson County.

There will be no calling hours. There will be a celebration of her life at her family's convenience at a time and date to be announced. A full obituary will be published. Arrangements are entrusted with Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Watertown and online condolences may be posted at www.cummingsfuneral.com. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Jefferson County, 1398 Gotham St., Watertown, NY 13601.

My thoughts and prayers go out to her family. Her Dss family loved to hear her stories that she would tell. I learned a lot about her love for animals, especially chickens ! She had a great personality and a kind heart . She will be missed.

Our deepest condolences for the family. We have known Kathy for many many years. Even before we worked together at DSS. My heart breaks as she was always a great friend and co-worker. She once told me happiness can only be achieved once you take hold of your own heart. She was so right. I love you my friend. I will miss you. Norm says give em hell but stay the great soul you always were. We love you. Fly High.
