We have known Alex for numerous years. He played in different places and i had the fortunate opportunity to sing with him and his band. We knew he was ill but what we did not know was he would leave us so soon. We have regrets....One is we never had the opportunity to go visit him due to working all the time. We never had the opportunity to tell him what a wonderful person he was and never got a chance to give some advice to him on his illness . He always told my husband of the many places he would be playing and asked my husband to tell me so i could go and sing with his band and him.. I am so heart broken at this loss and my husband Terry as well. We just learned of this news today at one thirty from a neighbor . She happened to see my husband and told him . We feel so bad that we never got to say good bye but in our hearts he will always be alive and singing and playing.

We are so sad for the passing of Alex and very sorry for your loss. He has been such a great friend and wonderful man to Kevin for so many years and to us as a couple for the past 20+ years. It's obvious he will be missed and remembered by so many in our community.

So sorry to hear of the passing of your brother and sister, Russ. I learned a a reunion a few years back that you were in London. I will try to make it to the celebration of life on Monday - may be a little late getting there after work. While you may not think of me, I remember you fondly. Hope all else is going well for you.
