I was privileged to meet Sr. Cordatta when I went to teach at Seton Catholic. She became my friend, colleague and later, my Principal. We stayed in touch, our last correspondence occurring on May 25th. She never mentioned her health but was concerned about a former Seton student who was terminally ill and had gone home to spend his final days with his parents. Typical Sr. Cordatta, thinking of others rather than herself.
May our Lord watch over you and keep you close. Amen

Sr. marie Cordata was my 5th grade teacher at St. Mary’s School in Massena. She was hands down the best teacher ever. She was always so kind and patient and was always regailing us with stories of her youth and her brothers shenanigans. I have never forgotten her. May she Rest In Peace.

Her passing is the loss for all who knew her and for those who didn’t. She will always have a special place in my heart and soul. A loved one sent me this prayer upon her passing, knowing when her loss would mean to me. God take her into heaven and may she find a peaceful eternity. This woman brought a smile to all who knew her.
May you Rest In Peace Sister Cordata.
Please bring your friends and family peace and tranquility with your memory while they grieve your loss.

Sr. Cordata was my favorite teacher at IHC. She always shared a story about Ausable Forks and made us laugh every class. To this day, I think of her every time someone misspells the word 'canceled'! May you rest in peace.

I am a friend of Sr. Cordata. We grew up together in Au Sable Forks in the Jersey section with the Garso girls and few others. We all went to school together. We were very close to her and her cousin,Joan Douglas Brown. We always played jokes on each pther.. I had flowers delivered to her class at IHC for her 50th b'day. She got even with me when I worked at MAI in the nurses office and she was teaching in the classroom down the hall. We will miss her but cherish our friendship. RIP " Murph" (Kathleen Murphy Everleth

I was saddened to hear of Sister's passing. When I heard the news it brought me back to my high school days at IHC and all the great memories of her classes I was lucky to have been in. I'll always remember her as devoted, kind, funny and most of all a great friend and confidant. Rest In Peace.

She was a great teacher and always had a smile on her face. She will be greatly missed. I remember many times that she either played a practical joke on someone or was the recipient of one. So sorry to all her close friends and family.
